Bush WalkWriting

Mr Fitz’s Bush Walk By Kiefer

Today the 18th of march room 7 year 6 went for a drive up the Takaka hill for an hour and a half I think on the way up their me and fletcher were playing some games  and I had my music playing on my phone. When we got to Mr Fitz’s drive way one car drove straight past so mum was beeping the horn like crazy then someone else drove past following the other car so we just went down the hill and we were waiting at the bottom for about three minutes until everyone got there. The people in my car was Tye , Damien , fletcher , mum and me when everyone had got out I stopped my music and got out of the car. Me and Fletcher had a look around after one minute Mr Fitz told us all to come here and listen to the rules and were it was. So as we were walking up the drive way I looked back and Mr Fitz s dog looked sad half way up I saw a homemade trap for possums and rats stuff like that I think. When we had got to the top we walked down the track we saw a few native trees and some native birds. Oh yea I also made Fletcher my photographer so he was taking photos of trees and stuff like that with my phone while I was marking the chart Mr Fitz was showing us some cool stuff we learnt a lot. The birds I saw was : five Fantails , seven Silver eyes , two Tuis , ten Bell birds and finally one kea. At the bottom of the  hill there was a little hut inside there was a shelf a couch and a fire with a few other things in it. On the way up we I leaped over a little river some people walked straight through  is and got wet I got a bit wet but not much. But anyway when we got to the top there were two baby wekas and one mother weka so anyway they ran of and everyone took their shoes of and went inside Mr Fitz’s house. The first thing I saw was the amazing view so I took a few photos then it went flat so we had morning tea and Mr Fitz gave us a biscuit in his house then we had a little talk and then we had to go so I got my  shoes on and hopped in to the car and we drove of back to school  and on the way mum said we were being annoying in the car when we got back to school most of us played on the playground and yea so I guess that’s the end.
